Highly effective polymer-type pour point depressant. Lowers the pour point of petroleum products and inhibits paraffin crystallization.
Transportation of highly paraffinic crude oils and fuel oils in the cold season is accompanied by paraffin crystallization, which creates spatial lattices and blocks pipeline cross-sections. RENA-2210 is a complex action pour point depressant that works as a paraffin deposition inhibitor. The polymer chains of the reagent adsorb on paraffin crystals, changing their shape and preventing agglomeration. Adding 0.25% of the additive provides a stable reduction in the pour point of the model oil by 10-15°C, restoring the fluidity of raw materials.
